A summertime celebration that debuted a couple years ago in Fayetteville will be back for year three in 2026.
Downtown Fayetteville Coalition today announced that the third annual Fayetteville Strawberry Festival is set for 12-6 p.m. on Sunday, May 17 on the Fayetteville square.
The event, which officials said was attended by more than 10,000 people last year, will include live music, food trucks, a pie-baking competition, an appearance by Strawberry Shortcake creator and illustrator Murial Fahrion, a dog parade, a makers market, food expo, fresh strawberries grown at local farms, and more.
Main stage musical performers for this year include Nik Parr & the Selfless Lovers, Thanks for Nothing, Ashtyn Barbaree, Meadow Makers, Patti Steel, and Candy Lee & the Backyard Bugs.
The festivities will kick off the night before the festival with a pre-party street dance from 6-9 p.m. on May 16, featuring performances by Jukebox Confession and Austin-based country artist, Nick Taylor.
